Gabriele Dado, Commercial Director at Safetytech Accelerator will present findings, lessons learnt and discuss opportunities from innovation projects over 3 years with around 600 startups and running scores of challenges in the maritime industry.
Learn about how maritime players can leverage tech from cutting edge startups and technology players. Themes of projects and challenges include cargo fire, methane abatement, navigation, and mental wellbeing of seafarers.
2. Rich McLoughlin will present Could technology innovation help address the problem of cargo fires? on 7 Jun, 14:30 – 15.00 in Hall E – Technical Seminar E8
Rich McLoughlin, Head of Maritime Engagement at Safetytech Accelerator will discuss challenges around maritime cargo fire and loss, and how innovation may contribute to solving some of these problems. With reference to the ground-breaking Cargo Fire and Loss Innovation Initiative where Safetytech Accelerator and partners address challenges through a combination of thought leadership, road-mapping and scouting of technologies, to identify high potential, practical technologies that can mitigate the impact of maritime fire and loss.
